Opening of the 2025 Traditional Badminton Tournament of Da Nang Labor Culture House

On the evening of September 12, at the Multi-purpose Gymnasium - Da Nang City Labor Culture House, the 6th Traditional Badminton Tournament of the City Labor Culture House - 2025 officially opened. The tournament took place over 3 days (September 12) with the participation of 172 athletes from 13 units in the area.

The tournament is organized to practically celebrate the 1st Da Nang City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, Trade Union Congresses at all levels towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031.

The tournament consists of 3 events: men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles; divided into 4 age groups: Group I (40 years old and under), Group II (41 years old and under), Group III (80+), Group IV (100+).

This is an opportunity for cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, laborers and members of the Badminton Club in the area to exchange, learn, and enhance the sports training movement, contributing to building a rich and healthy cultural and spiritual life.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh - Deputy Director of the Labor Culture House of Da Nang City emphasized: "The traditional badminton tournament is a practical activity to encourage the movement of sports training and health training among union members and workers, while creating opportunities for exchanges, strengthening solidarity, contributing to the effective implementation of the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

The Organizing Committee will award 9 sets of medals to athletes with the highest achievements in each event, with the following structure: First prize includes a Gold Medal, 2 million VND, 2 Redson rackets and free GYM practice cards; Second prize includes a Silver Medal, 1.5 million VND and free GYM practice cards; 2 Third prizes include a Bronze Medal, 1 million VND and free GYM practice cards.
