More than 5,500 workers attend the Union Meal

On July 31, Area Working Group No. 6 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that it had attended a "Union Meal" organized by the Trade Union of Greentech Headgear Company Limited in coordination with the Board of Directors of the company for all union members and employees on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025); and presented gifts to support those in difficult circumstances.

Also attending was Mr. Nguyen Ba Hung - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Nghia Thanh Commune Labor Union (Ho Chi Minh City).

With each meal worth 50,000 VND supported by the grassroots union, more than 5,500 union members and employees of Greentech Headgear Company Limited (at 2 factories) have enjoyed the Union Meal in a warm atmosphere, spreading the message of sustainable care, towards long-term well-being for union members.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation also organized the presentation of 60 gifts worth 1 million VND/gift to union members in difficult circumstances and union officials with many contributions. At the same time, 6 Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships and 4 gifts were presented to female union members in difficult circumstances.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Hung also, on behalf of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, sent his condolences to the company and union members and workers. Hopefully, in the coming time, the Board of Directors of the company and the grassroots trade union will continue to pay more attention to taking care of the lives, material and spiritual needs of workers, so that they can work with peace of mind, be more attached to the enterprise and improve labor and production efficiency.
