More than 500 workers attend the Union Meal at SCAVI Quang Tri

On August 2, continuing a series of activities to celebrate the 96th Anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025) and the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the grassroots Trade Union and the Board of Directors of SCAVI Quang Tri Company Limited to organize a Trade Union Meal for 509 union members and workers.

At the program, each meal is worth 60,000 VND, 39,000 VND higher than a regular meal at the company. Of which, the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 20,000 VND/scholarship, and the grassroots union supported an additional 10,000 VND/scholarship. Improving the quality of meals shows the practical concern of the Trade Union organization for workers who are directly involved in production.

Also in the program, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 15 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth VND500,000, with a total cost of VND7.5 million from the union fund.

The Union Meal not only brings nutritional fullness but is also an opportunity to demonstrate the solidarity, sharing and companionship of the Union organization with workers. This activity contributes to motivating, helping union members feel secure in their work and stay with the enterprise for a long time.

On this occasion, 26 workers and laborers were admitted to the Vietnam Trade Union, affirming their role as the only representative organization, caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
