More than 300 athletes participate in the Thanh Dong Ward Trade Union Sports Tournament, Hai Phong

On January 8 and 10, the Trade Union coordinated with the Thanh Dong Ward Public Career Service Center, Hai Phong City to organize a Sports Tournament for workers, civil servants, and laborers.

The event celebrates the 14th National Party Congress, the election of National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2030 term, and at the same time successfully celebrates the 1st City Trade Union Congress.

The tournament was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Permanent Vice President of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation; Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Hoa - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Thanh Dong Ward People's Council; and Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ngoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Thanh Dong Ward People's Committee.

This year's tournament attracted more than 300 athletes from 18 grassroots trade unions in the ward. Athletes compete in 3 sports: football, Pickleball and tug of war.

The matches took place in a spirit of solidarity, honesty and nobility. Many attractive matches, good professional quality, beautiful plays, demonstrating skillful individual techniques and smooth coordination between players.

The competitive atmosphere was vibrant, serious but full of sportsmanship, creating a unique attraction for the event. The sports tournament is not only a playground to improve health but also truly becomes a big festival for Thanh Dong Ward Union members.
