More than 300 workers in Dak Lak gather at the Union Meal
Dak Lak - More than 300 workers gathered and ate a union meal with many delicious dishes with high nutritional value.
On August 16, the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with ASEAN Steel Joint Stock Company (Hoa Phu Industrial Park) to organize a "Union Meal" program for all union members and workers of the company.
The activity is part of a series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day on September 2.
Each meal worth 48,000 VND includes rice, fried chicken thighs, vegetable soup, stir-fried vegetables, braised meat, yogurt, mineral water... with more than 300 union members and workers participating. Of which, VND 28,000 was taken from the company's daily shift meal fund, the remaining VND 20,000 was supported by the Provincial Trade Union. Improving the quality of meals has received the response and excitement of workers in the face of the attention and care of the trade union organization.
Vice President of Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor Le Thi Ngoc Hoa expressed her hope that union members and workers will continue to promote the glorious tradition of the trade union organization; strengthen solidarity, responsibility, creativity, compete in labor production, and successfully complete assigned tasks.
On this occasion, the trade union organization also presented 5 gifts (each worth 1 million VND in cash) to workers and laborers who have had work-related accidents, serious illnesses or are in difficult circumstances.
