Hanoi plans to organize the City Skilled Workers' Competition in October 2025
The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 230/KH-UBND on Organizing the Hanoi City Skilled Workers' Competition in 2025.
The 2025 Hanoi Skilled Workers' Competition (Competition) is held to honor highly skilled workers, promote the emulation movement "Theoretical workshop, skill training, excellent worker competition" to contribute to improving the quality of human resources, productivity, and competitiveness of the capital.
The Hanoi People's Committee plans to organize the Competition on October 25 - 26, 2025 at Hanoi High School for the Gifted (Xuan Phuong Ward). The contestants are Vietnamese workers working at enterprises of all economic sectors in the city.
Candidates will compete in 11 occupations: Electromechanical materials; Electromechanical sewing; CNC sewing; CNC sewing; Welding; CO2 welding and welding Tig; Industrial electronics; Industrial electricity; computer drawing and design; Industrial sewing; automotive technology. Candidates take the theory exam for 30 minutes; practice for a maximum of 90 minutes, depending on each profession.
The deadline for receiving the list of candidates is August 15, 2025, and it will be sent to the Hanoi City Labor Federation (No. 51, Ly Thai To Street, Hanoi).
The Hanoi People's Committee plans that each profession will have 1 First Prize (10 million VND), 2 Second Prizes (7 million VND), 3 Third Prizes (5 million VND) and Encouragement Prizes (3 million VND). In addition to the prize, candidates who win prizes and participate in the Contest will be granted a Certificate. A maximum of 10 collectives and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements will be considered for a Certificate of Merit by the Hanoi People's Committee.
The Hanoi City Labor Federation is the standing agency, chairing the contest; the departments: Home Affairs, Finance, Education and Training, Hanoi High School for the Gifted coordinated to organize the contest.
