Nearly 500 workers at 2 companies in Bac Ninh enjoy union meals

The Trade Union of Hop Thinh Commune (Bac Ninh Province) and the Trade Union of NSM HV Company Limited in Hop Thinh Commune (98 workers) and Thai Son Global Garment Joint Stock Company in Hoang Van Commune (400 workers) have just organized a trade union meal program.

This is an event to pay tribute to workers and celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2). Each meal is worth 50,000 VND, with a rich menu such as fish, chicken, meat, yogurt, dessert... carefully prepared, ensuring nutrition and food hygiene and safety.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Thai Son Global Garment Joint Stock Company said: "We want to make this meal so that everyone feels recognized and motivated in their work. In the near future, the grassroots trade union will continue to coordinate with the Board of Directors to organize more activities to care for the spiritual and material life of workers in a more practical way."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of NSM HV Company Limited shared that caring for workers is not only about salary and bonus, but also spiritual life. A cozy meal like this helps workers feel more shared and attached to the company and the trade union organization.

The Chairman of the grassroots union said that in the near future, he will try to regularly organize union meals to thank workers on the 1st of the month.
