HCMC - Phase 2 of the packaging factory built with an investment capital of nearly VND3,000 billion has just been put into operation.

On July 3, Tetra Pak Company (a Swedish-invested enterprise) put into operation phase 2 of the sterilizer packaging factory project in VSIP II-A Industrial Park (Vinh Tan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

Tetra Pak factory in Binh Duong has a total investment of 217 million Euros, phase 1 with an investment capital of 120 million Euros has been put into operation since 2019. Phase 2 is built with an investment capital of 97 million Euros (equivalent to nearly 3,000 billion VND).

This is a modern beverage cardboard factory in Binh Duong. The total capacity of the factory is over 30 billion boxes/year. The factory creates jobs for about 350 workers and laborers.

According to Tetra Pak Company, 55% of packaging products produced at the factory in VSIP II-A Industrial Park will be supplied to the Vietnamese market.
