Expected to have more than 300 official delegates attending the Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress

Mr. Hoang Van Tinh - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Industrial Park Trade Union (Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation) said that immediately after the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor issued a plan to organize the congress, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation proactively developed and implemented a plan to organize grassroots trade union congresses at the commune and ward levels in the province, accordingly, the trade union congresses of communes and wards started in September and must be completed before October 20, 2025; the grassroots trade union congress must be completed before November 30, 2025.

To ensure progress according to the plan of grassroots trade union congresses and commune and ward levels, towards the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030; commune, ward and grassroots trade unions in the province have proactively developed a plan to organize congresses at their level, established subcommittees to prepare for the congress to carry out the contents and tasks according to the plan.

For the trade unions of communes and wards, by October 19, 2025, 25/25 trade unions of communes and wards have directed the completion of organizing grassroots trade union congresses in the management area and successfully organized trade union congresses of communes and wards, 1 day earlier than planned.

For grassroots trade unions, up to now, 2,131/2,148 (reaching a rate of 99.2%) of grassroots trade unions have successfully organized Congresses or Trade Union Conferences as planned (a few grassroots trade unions cannot organize congresses because the enterprise is temporarily suspended or no more workers). Through monitoring and directing the congresses, 100% of grassroots trade unions and commune and ward trade unions that have organized congresses and conferences have fully ensured the contents and in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.

The trade union congresses of communes and wards elected 243 members of the executive committee, 64 members of the standing committee, 72 members of the inspection committee; the grassroots trade union congress elected 10,119 members of the executive committee and 4,536 members of the grassroots trade union inspection committee. In general, the quality of the Executive Committee members, members of the grassroots union inspection committee and members of the commune and ward levels must ensure the prescribed standards, have professional qualifications and expertise, and be trusted and trusted by union members, workers and employers.

In addition to directing grassroots trade union congresses and communes and wards in the whole province, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has focused on preparing for the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.

Up to this point, preparations for the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, have been basically completed to organize the Congress, which will take place on December 20, 2025.

Regarding the number of delegates and guests attending the congress, the official delegates attending the congress are 300 delegates, of which the delegates are current members of the executive committee: 34 delegates, rate: 11.3%; elected and appointed delegates: 266 delegates, accounting for 88.7%. Guest delegates attending the Congress: about 90 delegates (accounting for 30% of the congress's official delegates).
