Encouraging workers to ensure power supply for the A80 Festival
The working delegation of the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) Trade Union has just come to encourage workers to ensure power supply for the 80th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (A80).
The Trade Union of the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and the Trade Union of Power Transmission Company 1 (PTC1) visited and encouraged workers managing and operating power lines and transformer stations in the inner city of Hanoi who are directly performing the task of ensuring power supply for the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The working delegation included Mr. Nguyen Huy Thang - Vice Chairman of EVNNPT Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Toan Thang - Chairman of PTC1 Trade Union, leaders of PTC1 functional departments, and leaders of Hanoi Power Transmission Team.
At the meeting to encourage workers, the representative of the Hanoi Power Transmission Team said: Implementing the direction of EVNNPT and PTC1 on proactively developing a plan to ensure safe, continuous and stable power transmission on the occasion of National Day, the unit has developed a plan early. Of which, 100% of the periodic experimental work of the Hanoi and surrounding substations has been completed. Regularly inspect the heat detection of substation equipment and power lines. Early detection and quick handling of equipment defects at transformer stations and important lines have been directed by EVNNPT to be controlled and thoroughly implemented.
Regarding the arrangement of human resources at the station, the Hanoi Power Transmission Team has resumed the duty of 220kV substations, with 500kV substations ready to mobilize 100% of the troops to be present at the station from August 27 to September 2, 2025.
For the line, the Power Transmission Teams have worked with relevant local authorities as well as have plans to protect power works and power grid corridors, prevent fires and propagate to prevent and strictly handle cases of metal-plated fireworks or throwing foreign objects, releasing storks violating the corridor of the line to be completed on August 5, 2025.
The cleaning of power lines and isolation, inspection of accessories and hygiene of isolation, installation of additional allowances for the anchored locations, repair of grounding systems, handling of contact with the ends, cutting down trees inside and outside the corridor, handling the clearance of the land filling, clearing the low-lying - inter-land landslides, preventing the act of releasing storks, cleaning hotlines... for power lines for Hanoi city.
For spare equipment, implementing EVNNPT and PTC1 instructions, the Hanoi Power Transmission Team has prepared spare equipment, supplemented, and mobilized the arrangement of main equipment to be placed at transformer stations ready for operation at the highest level.
Currently, the TBA equipment and the line have been operated, ready to ensure safe, reliable operation and power supply during the Commemoration Ceremony, parade, and parade of the 80th anniversary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
At the visit and encouragement, EVNNPT Trade Union Vice Chairman Nguyen Huy Thang said that the Corporation's Trade Union highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, dedication and proactiveness of the officers, engineers and workers directly managing and operating the power lines and transformer stations in the Hanoi area during these peak days.
The Vice President of EVNNPT Trade Union requested PTC1 and the Hanoi Power Transmission Team to arrange additional personnel at vulnerable locations on the line. Forces, materials, means, tools and equipment are deployed to be ready to respond to emergency situations; the Control, Telecommunications & Information Technology Department is on duty and is ready to promptly grasp situations to best operate the transmission system.
At the same time, the leaders of EVNNPT Trade Union hope that workers will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, discipline and professional expertise, overcome all difficulties to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing significantly to the overall success of the Festival.
