The 1st My Duc Commune Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, is an important milestone affirming the new development of the Commune-level Trade Union organization after reorganizing the two-level government model, opening an operational phase with many expectations of innovation, creativity and efficiency.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress demonstrates the will, belief and aspiration of union members and workers in building a strong Trade Union organization, a reliable support for local workers.

Attending and directing the Congress were Mr. Le Dinh Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Permanent Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Confederation of Labor; Dang Van Canh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of My Duc commune, along with leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of My Duc commune.

According to the Political Report submitted to the Congress, the My Duc Commune Trade Union determined the consistent goal in the new term to innovate the content and methods of Trade Union activities, focusing on the grassroots, better caring for the material and spiritual life, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. At the same time, promote propaganda, gathering, and developing union members; build a team of union officials with qualities, capacity, and courage, proactively adapting to the requirements of the digital transformation period.

In the new term, the My Duc Commune Trade Union identified two breakthroughs: Building a team of union officials with intelligence, enthusiasm, responsibility, innovative thinking, flexibility, creativity, and effective application of digital transformation in activities; Promoting dialogue and collective bargaining, focusing on employment, income, occupational safety and hygiene, and improving the quality of life of workers.

The commune union also sets many specific targets, in which it strives: to have at least one typical work and part of the work every year; 100% of grassroots union officials are trained in professional skills; promote the application of information technology, digital transformation in activities; by the end of the term, 100% of meeting documents are digitized, 100% of meetings do not use paper.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Le Dinh Hung - Permanent Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Labor Federation praised the sense of responsibility and careful preparation of the My Duc Commune Labor Union. The Standing Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Labor Federation emphasized: In the 2025 - 2030 term, in the context of industrialization, modernization and extensive international integration, workers are increasingly diverse in their careers, qualifications and living conditions, and labor relations are also more complicated. Therefore, the commune-level Trade Union organization needs to continue to innovate strongly, flexibly, and closely following reality, to effectively perform its role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

Mr. Le Dinh Hung suggested that the My Duc Commune Trade Union focus on effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements among workers, civil servants, and laborers, associated with local socio-economic development tasks; promote propaganda and mobilize union members to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; actively apply digital transformation in trade union activities; promote the core role in building grassroots cultural life, building a "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" environment, towards sustainable development.
