Enterprises improve disaster prevention skills for workers
Lam Dong - Dai Ninh Hydropower Company has just organized a natural disaster prevention and search and rescue drill to limit loss and damage to people and property.
On July 16, Mr. Nguyen Viet Tai - Deputy Director of Dai Ninh Hydropower Company said that the unit had just organized a drill on natural disaster prevention and search and rescue plans.
According to Mr. Tai, this is a periodic activity to improve the ability to handle and respond promptly when incidents occur, ensuring the safety of workers, unit assets and the community.
The drill was attended by 44 workers, practicing the motto "4 on-site" and "3 ready" under the direct command of the company's Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue.
During the drill, hypothetical situations simulating operating incidents at the plant include: Opening the spillway when the power grid is operating normally; opening the spillway with a backup diesel power source; opening with a hydraulic hand pump...
Thereby, workers practice operational skills and emergency situation handling.
