On the morning of December 26, the delegation attending the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, led by Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor, laid wreaths and offered incense at the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery in Trung An Ward.
In the presence of the heroic martyrs who heroically fell for the Vietnamese revolution under the leadership of the Communist Party, fighting for national liberation, national reunification, and building the Fatherland of Vietnam, the delegation of the Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress expressed their infinite gratitude, respect, and remembered the great contributions of the heroic martyrs for the country, for the independence of the country, and were ready to sacrifice their blood and lives...
The 1st Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, will take place at the Dong Thap Provincial Conference Center, My Tho Ward, on December 26, 2025 with the participation of 295 delegates representing the will, aspirations and beliefs of over 200,000 union members of Dong Thap Provincial - Dat Sen Hong.
The Congress is a broad, democratic political activity, a festival for union officials, union members and all levels of the Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union. With the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress is tasked with objectively and comprehensively assessing the achieved results, pointing out the limitations and shortcomings of the workers' movement and trade union activities in the period of 2023 - 2025.
At the same time, analyze the weaknesses, clearly identify the causes, thereby draw experiences to determine the goals, directions, tasks and propose appropriate solutions to implement in the coming term and contribute to the Draft amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
