Dien Bien organizes grassroots trade union congress for the first time after merger

Attending and directing the Congress were Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong - Vice President of the Labor Federation of Dien Bien province; representatives of the Labor Federation of Tuan Giao commune, leaders of the Project Management and Land Fund Development Board of Region 3, and 66 union members.

This is the first grassroots Trade Union Congress in Dien Bien province to be held after the merger.

Accordingly, the grassroots Trade Union of the Project Management and Land Fund Development Board of Region 3 was established on the basis of merging the grassroots Trade Union of the Project Management and Land Fund Development Board of Tua Chua District (old) and the Project Management and Land Fund Development Board of Tuan Giao District (old).

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong acknowledged and praised the activities of grassroots trade unions in the past time.

At the same time, he requested the new Executive Committee to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, improve the quality of the trade union staff, build a strong organization, and contribute to the successful implementation of the agency's tasks.

At the Congress, the Organizing Committee announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for the first term, 2025-2030 term, consisting of 5 comrades; the Inspection Committee consisting of 3 comrades; and appointed 1 delegate to attend the 13th Provincial Trade Union Congress.

Regarding the direction of activities for the 2025-2030 term, the Congress has set out 9 main targets, 7 key tasks and appropriate implementation solutions.
