Vinh Long Trade Union Congress scheduled to be held on December 16
Vinh Long The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee approved documents and personnel, agreeing to organize the Trade Union Congress on December 16.
The Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF) said that the new term Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor will be held on December 16, after the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee approved documents and personnel.
The congress is expected to have 390 delegates attending, including 300 official delegates, representing over 160,000 union members in the province, reflecting the strength and solidarity of the Vinh Long Trade Union movement.
This is an opportunity to evaluate the results of Trade Union activities in the past term, propose directions and tasks for the new term, contributing to the effective implementation of the Party and State's policies and guidelines in the field of labor and employment.
The Congress also affirmed the role of the Trade Union organization in the new situation, with the determination to promote the spirit of solidarity, pioneering, innovation, and creativity; building a strong working class and trade union organization; accompanying businesses, protecting workers' rights, contributing to building Vinh Long province, developing quickly and sustainably.
