Nhu Thanh Commune Labor Union gives gifts to disadvantaged workers

On September 24, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the Nhu Thanh Commune Union has just coordinated with Akalia Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd. to organize a gift-giving program for union members and workers in difficult circumstances working at the enterprise. This is a practical activity to care for workers' lives, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.

At the program, 10 gifts, each worth 2.2 million VND, taken from the "Supporting union members, workers, civil servants and laborers of Thanh Hoa Trade Union" Fund were given to workers and union members in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Le Thuy Lan - Chairman of the People's Council of the commune highly appreciated the initiative and support of the Trade Union organization in caring for the lives of workers, especially the workers in the non-state sector.

The representative of Akalia Shoes Company Limited also expressed his gratitude for the support of the Trade Union at all levels and local authorities, and pledged to continue to coordinate with the Trade Union organization to improve working conditions and life for workers.

This gift-giving program is a vivid testament to the effective coordination between the Trade Union organization and enterprises in practical care for workers, especially in the context of many difficulties as at present.
