Bau Bang Commune Trade Union sets a target of developing 1,000 union members

According to the report at the conference, there are 92 grassroots unions in Bau Bang commune with 21,692 union members. Currently, there are about 400 enterprises with labor relations, of which more than 100 enterprises have 25 or more employees (90% already have trade unions).

According to records, the situation of workers in the commune is relatively stable, from July 2025 to now, there have been 2 small-scale labor disputes, with no large-scale strikes. The lives of workers still face many difficulties, especially illegal workers. Some low-income workers are always worried about the situation of high prices affecting the quality of life.

During the 2025 - 2030 term, Bau Bang Commune Trade Union set a target of developing at least 200 new union members each year, and developing 1,000 union members for the entire term. Strive for at least 95% of workers working in state-owned units, organizations and enterprises to be union members.
