Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union finalizes the time to organize the 1st Congress

On December 28, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - said that he had set the time to organize the first Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union Congress.

Specifically, the 2025-2030 term congress will take place on one day, December 31, at the Provincial Labor Culture House (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat).

Previously, the congress was scheduled to be held on December 22-23, but due to objective reasons, the time had to be adjusted.

Mr. Hoang emphasized that this is an important political event for cadres, union members and workers in the province; marking the transformation of the workers' movement and trade union activities after the merger and establishment of the new province.

"All preparations have been completed, from personnel, content, program to service conditions. Thereby, the unit is ready to organize the congress in accordance with the Charter and successfully Mr. Hoang affirmed.

The Congress summoned 200 official delegates, representing nearly 90,000 union members, workers, civil servants and laborers in the whole province.

Delegates will discuss and evaluate the situation of union members and workers; the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2025 period; clarify limitations, causes and lessons learned, and at the same time determine the direction, goals, targets, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.

The Congress will also announce decisions to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2025-2030 term, along with the delegation attending the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2026-2031.
