Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union is ready for the 1st Congress

During these days, the atmosphere of preparation for the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, is becoming more exciting than ever.

To create a strong influence, the work of propaganda and visual encouragement has been focused on and implemented synchronously. On main roads and central areas, the system of flags, banners... has been solemnly hung. In particular, large-sized billboards with the congress's action slogan have been installed at key intersections and right at the headquarters of the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF), creating a brilliant and exciting appearance before the event.

In addition to the visual form, digital communication work is also being promoted with 100% of grassroots trade unions (CDCS) building Fanpages or Zalo groups, posting more than 10,000 articles to quickly inform each union member.

The Congress will officially take place on the morning of December 26, at the Hall of the Dong Thap Provincial Convention Center. With the participation of 385 delegates and guests.

The Congress is an opportunity to look back at the entire operation process in the 2023 - 2025 period with proud results: Practical care: Supporting more than 654,000 union members participating in the "Tet Sum Vay" program with a total amount of more than 235.8 billion VND; Building and repairing 338 "Union Shelters" with an amount of about 16 billion VND; 97.59% of enterprises signed Collective Labor Agreements, bringing many beneficial provisions to workers; Admitting 37,499 new union members, bringing the total number of union members in the province to 12,568 people.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union is determined to implement 3 strategic breakthroughs: Focus resources on improving the quality of performing representative functions, focusing on negotiating Collective Labor Agreements; Strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, promote digital transformation in all trade union activities; Build a team of trade union officials, especially the Chairman of the grassroots trade union with courage, enthusiasm and prestige.

With careful preparation in both content and form of propaganda, the First Congress of the Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union promises to be a great success, opening a new chapter full of aspirations for the working class and laborers in the province.

After the congress, the Provincial Federation of Labor will organize an art program to successfully celebrate the congress taking place at 6:00 p.m. on December 29, at the Hall of the My Tho Ward Cultural House.
