Trade unions create a solid source of Party members from workers

Grassroots trade unions welcome workers to the Party

Due to the nature of the shift, the pressure of production progress, ... the development of the Party in non-state enterprises in Vinh Long has encountered many difficulties. However, practice shows that when the Trade Union takes the initiative to participate, workers directly involved in production can fully mature.

As a skilled worker, who has been attached to the line at My Phong Leather Shoes Company Limited (Thip Ngai Commune, Vinh Long Province) for many years, Mr. Le Thanh Tan often handles complex technical errors, contributing to stabilizing the productivity and product quality of the enterprise.

The day he was admitted to the Party was an important milestone for Mr. Tan. From being a machine operator, he became more aware of the responsibility to set an example, the pioneering role and the spirit of discipline of Party members in the industrial working environment.

According to Mr. Tan, becoming a Party member means working more normally. He actively participates in the movement of initiatives to improve, save raw materials, support colleagues, and create a positive spread among the working group.

In reality, Party members who come from direct production workers are becoming the core of the enterprise. They are both skilled and a bridge between workers and the board of directors, contributing to stabilizing labor relations.

To get the "red seeds" from the factory, the role of the grassroots trade union is key. The union monitors and discovers outstanding union members through the good labor movement, competing for creative labor every day.

Mr. Cao Huu Trong Bac - Chairman of the Trade Union of Lefaso Tra Vinh Industrial Investment & Production Joint Stock Company (Tra Cu Commune, Vinh Long Province) - said that the Trade Union does not run by quantity but focuses on the quality of the source to introduce to the Party.

According to Mr. Bac, the introduced union members must be truly exemplary, have prestige and the ability to gather workers, thereby contributing to building a stable, harmonious and sustainable working environment.

Provincial Trade Union opens a long-term direction for developing party members

Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - said that on a provincial scale, the work of developing the Party among workers has been implemented synchronously, in line with the characteristics of non-state enterprises.

In the period of 2023 - 2025, the whole province has had 1,700 outstanding union members in enterprises considered, trained and admitted to the Party. This result reflects the effectiveness of linking Party development work with the production labor movement.

According to Mr. Linh, the main source of income comes from industrial parks and clusters, where there are many young workers with qualifications and the ability to absorb quickly. This is a potential force, if properly cared for, it will become the political core in the enterprise.

Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, the Provincial Federation of Labor has determined that each grassroots union will averagely introduce at least 1 outstanding union member for the Party to consider, train and admit.

According to the Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, developing the Party among workers is a key task to maintain the nature of the working class of the Party, especially when non-state enterprises increasingly account for a large proportion. The work of developing the Party among workers must be sustainable, focusing on the quality of excellent union members, ensuring standards and spreading in the working group.

When workers are Party members, labor relations in enterprises become more stable. Workers have a political support, while businesses benefit from a disciplined, responsible and committed workforce, Mr. Linh emphasized.
