Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward Labor Union completes the apparatus, cares for union members
Lam Dong - Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward Trade Union is innovating activities to take more practical care of union members and workers.
On December 23, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Loan - Chairwoman of the Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong Province) said that the unit had just held the 1st Executive Committee Conference, deciding on many important contents in the process of perfecting the organization and implementation of activities.
At the conference, the Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward Trade Union announced the decisions of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation on the establishment of the trade union; appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and temporary leadership positions of the Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward Trade Union.
Accordingly, the Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward Trade Union was authorized by the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation to manage 38 grassroots trade unions with nearly 2,000 union members and workers, operating in Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward, Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward and Lac Duong Commune.
Ms. Loan said that the inter-ward and commune union model is a new model; while there is currently only one full-time union cadre, the management area is large, so the implementation of activities and grasping the situation at the grassroots level still faces many difficulties.
Immediately after announcing the establishment decision, the Executive Committee met, discussed and agreed to issue working regulations for the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee; at the same time, assigning specific tasks to each member to soon put trade union activities into order.
At the same time, the Lang Biang - Da Lat Ward Trade Union also set out 11 key tasks in 2026, aiming to innovate the content and methods of operation, in line with the new organizational model of the Trade Union.
Mr. Le Quang Hoa - Chairman of the Trade Union of Saigon - Dan Kia Water Supply Joint Stock Company - said that these are important orientations for grassroots trade unions to implement in the coming time.
According to Mr. Hoa, the units will promote propaganda and mobilize workers to join the Trade Union; focus on dialogue, negotiation, signing and effectively implementing collective labor agreements to better care for union members and workers.
The union will coordinate and accompany the company's leaders to focus resources on taking care of Binh Ngo Tet in 2026 with the motto "All union members have Tet", Mr. Hoa affirmed.
