Binh Thuan Ward Labor Union encourages teachers in flooded areas before November 20
Lam Dong - On the occasion of the celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union visited and encouraged the affiliated educational institution trade unions.
On the morning of November 18, Ms. Le Huynh Thi Hoa Phuong - Chairwoman of the Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong Province) said that the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee visited and congratulated the Board of Directors, teachers and workers of Binh Thuan College and Le Loi High School for the Gifted on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.
These are two educational institutions with grassroots unions under the ward. At the destinations, the ward union expressed gratitude to the teaching staff, and encouraged teachers to continue to improve teaching quality, maintaining a stable educational environment.
The delegation also presented two gifts - each worth 1 million VND from the budget of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - to two union members of Binh Thuan College affected by the recent floods.
Ms. Le Huynh Thi Hoa Phuong said that the gift was not large but showed timely sharing and support for union members to overcome difficulties after natural disasters. The visit on the occasion of November 20 is a source of encouragement for teachers to be more confident and continue to contribute to the local education sector.
Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union affirmed that it will continue to accompany grassroots trade unions in caring for union members' lives, building a united and active working environment - towards strengthening a strong trade union organization from the grassroots.
