Phu Tho Trade Union organizes Trade Union Meals for thousands of workers and laborers

Following the direction of the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor, on July 28, grassroots trade unions of enterprises in industrial parks simultaneously organized union meals for workers.

Specifically, the Trade Union of Partron Vina Co., Ltd. organized a union meal for 3,500 workers and employees; the Trade Union of Accton Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized a union meal for 1,800 workers and employees; the Trade Union of Piaggio Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized a union meal for 1,105 workers and employees; the Trade Union of Midori Apparel Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized a union meal for 657 workers and employees; the Trade Union of CNCTech Group Joint Stock Company organized a union meal for 500 workers and employees;

The Trade Union of Hoan My Company Limited organized a union meal for 410 workers and laborers; The Trade Union of Vinatop Group Joint Stock Company organized a union meal for 180 workers and laborers; The Trade Union of Diamond Industrial Company Limited organized a union meal for 137 workers and laborers; The Trade Union of Polaris Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized a union meal for 100 workers and laborers; The Trade Union of Northstar Precision Co., Ltd. organized a union meal for 150 workers and laborers; The Trade Union of Okamoto Vietnam Technical Company Limited organized a union meal for 97 workers and laborers...

Attending the program, leaders of departments of the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor visited the workshop, grasped the lives, income, and jobs of workers and had lunch together.

Many workers and laborers expressed their joy and excitement when having lunch with more rich and nutritious meals as well as receiving encouragement and attention from trade unions at all levels.

"The value of the company's daily meals is 31,000 VND/meal, today the union donated 50,000 VND, the company donated an additional 19,000 VND. The total value of a union meal today is up to 100,000, the union leader of Pollaris company excitedly shared.

According to the plan, the "Union Meal" will be implemented by the Phu Tho Provincial Trade Union from July 20 to September 2, 2025, focusing on the occasion of celebrating the Vietnam Trade Union Day (July 28) and National Day September 2.

This is not only an activity in response to major national holidays, but also an opportunity for trade unions at all levels to affirm their role and mark in accompanying workers right at the workplace.

The program is organized based on the spirit of dialogue and negotiation between the union and the employer, ensuring that shift meals or lunches are of higher quality than usual.

The funding source for implementation is partly supported by the trade union organization, the rest is coordinated by the enterprise, depending on the actual conditions at each unit.
