The Western Hai Phong Trade Union organizes a meal to connect workers
Hai Phong - Nearly 23,000 union members and workers in the western area of Hai Phong participated in the "Union Meal" on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union.
On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), nearly 23,000 union members and workers at enterprises in the western area of Hai Phong participated in the "Union Meal" program, creating a warm and close atmosphere between the union, enterprises and workers.
Grassroots trade unions such as: Tinh Loi Garment Company Limited, Biel Crystal Industrial Company Limited, Luc Xuong Company Limited, Em ViNa Company Limited, ICS Company Limited... have coordinated with business leaders to organize meaningful meals for union members and workers.
The value of Union Meal is equivalent to a daily meal, increased from the Unions financial resources, up to VND50,000/meal, along with socialized sources. Many businesses combine the program with activities of giving birthday gifts, taking care of union members in difficult circumstances, and creating more joy for workers.
According to the plan of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation, the 2025 "Union Meal" program will be implemented from July 20 to September 2, focusing on the occasion of the anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union and National Day.
