Dak Lak Industry and Trade Trade Union admits more than 600 new union members

On June 14, the Dak Lak Provincial Industry and Trade Union held the 7th Conference, term VII, 2023 - 2028 to evaluate trade union activities in the first 6 months of 2025 and deploy contents in the coming time.

In the first 6 months of 2025, industry unions and grassroots unions have performed well the task of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

The whole industry has 36/45 units signing collective labor agreements with more beneficial contents for union members and workers.

The "Union Shelter" program has been deployed by the industry union to affiliated units. Thereby, supporting construction funds for 6 union members with difficult housing circumstances with a total amount of 300 million VND.

Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Industry and Trade Union - said: "In the first 6 months of the year, the industry union established 5 grassroots unions, admitting 642 union members to the union organization".

According to Mr. Tuan, this is a great effort of the industry in the current context. In addition, welfare programs and care for union members in difficult circumstances continue to be implemented regularly and systematically.

At the conference, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented the emulation flag to the ASEAN Steel Joint Stock Company's Trade Union and awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals.

The Provincial Federation of Labor awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities in 2024.

The Trade Union of Industry and Trade also awarded a decision to support the construction of a "Union Shelter" house for 6 union members with difficult housing circumstances (VND 50 million/house).
