Lao Cai Trade Union launches Lifelong Learning Response Week 2025

On the morning of October 1, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a launching ceremony for the Lifelong Learning Responding Week in 2025, attracting a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and union members to attend.

With the theme "Learning to develop yourself, mastering knowledge and technology, contributing to building a strong and prosperous country", the 2025 Lifelong Learning response Week aims to raise awareness of union members and workers about the meaning and role of learning, especially self-study and lifelong learning in the context of digital transformation and international integration.

Activities focus on encouraging the application of information technology, developing digital skills; at the same time, enhancing the coordination of all levels, sectors, businesses and the whole society in building a learning society.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized: Lifelong learning is not only a responsibility but also an essential need of everyone in the period of industrialization, modernization and integration.

The Week of lifelong learning response is an opportunity to spread the spirit of self-study, encourage cadres, union members, and workers to constantly practice, improve their qualifications and professional skills, and meet increasingly high requirements in work and life".

Accordingly, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor has set out a number of key tasks such as promoting propaganda, raising awareness of the role of lifelong learning; encouraging workers to effectively exploit digital resources, online learning platforms; organizing many diverse learning activities such as seminars, competitions, soft skills training...

In particular, the team of union cadres must be the core force, creating a regular and continuous learning environment.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor implemented a training and coaching plan for union officials.

At the same time, it encourages grassroots trade unions to organize practical activities such as building trade union bookcases, developing clubs to study, exchanging experiences, contributing to improving the qualifications of all aspects for union members and workers.

The 2025 lifelong learning response week is an opportunity to affirm the determination of Lao Cai trade union organization in accompanying workers to improve their capacity, build high-quality human resources, and actively contribute to the sustainable development of the province and the country.
