On August 24, information from the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit's working delegation had just visited and worked with the Trade Union of Lam Nghiep Duc Hoa One Member Co., Ltd., in Dak Song commune, Lam Dong province.

At the meeting, the working delegation listened to the company's leaders report on the company's operations in the past time.

Accordingly, the whole company currently has 30 employees, with an average salary of about 6.5 million VND/person/month. The situation of union members and workers is basically stable and they are assured of their work.

In the past, the company has always ensured the number of soldiers, forest protection work, policies for workers... However, due to the large area, thin forest protection forces, and low revenue, it has affected the lives of workers.

On the part of the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union, in the past time, it has done a good job of caring for union members and workers. Internally, the company is united, the trade union has actively coordinated with the Board of Directors to organize many activities to care for union members and workers.

However, due to the small number of union members, leading to limited funding, it is very difficult to organize grassroots movements. Union officials are mainly part-time and have not been trained, making it difficult for union work.

Grasping the operational situation of the company and the grassroots trade union, Mr. Phan Thanh Thai - Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - acknowledged the results achieved in the past time.

Mr. Thai oriented a number of key tasks that need to be implemented, including: The grassroots union executive committee needs to regularly take advantage of the leadership of the party committee to improve operational efficiency.

The Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union proactively develops a plan to organize the Grassroots Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term; closely coordinate with the Board of Directors in caring for the rights of union members, especially in disadvantaged areas.

In addition, grassroots trade unions need to promote emulation movements, cultural and sports activities to create a playground for workers.

At the same time, maintain two-way information exchanges with the Provincial Federation of Labor to promptly receive guidance and support during activities.
