Khanh Hoa Trade Union removes obstacles, stabilizes operations after merger

On July 18, in Bao An ward, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference to deploy trade union activities in the last 6 months of 2025.

The conference has nearly 250 delegates who are chairmen, vice chairmen, and accountants of 247 affiliated grassroots trade unions.

Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, concurrently Head of the Khanh Hoa Industrial Park Trade Union - shared that after the merger of the province, the trade union organization has also completed the disolution and merger into the new Khanh Hoa province.

After 2 weeks of operation according to the current operating model, there will certainly be disruptions, new points, and arising issues during the implementation process.

Through the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor hope to listen to the grassroots unions express their opinions, problems, and propose solutions to operate in accordance with the grassroots reality.

Khanh Hoa Industrial Park Trade Union Board also officially launched enterprise trade unions in the South Khanh Hoa area.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, concurrently Head of the Organizing and Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of the province - shared more with representatives of the grassroots trade unions about trade union activities after the merger.

Accordingly, after merging trade unions and becoming a member organization, it will be under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and will be reduced to 2 committees, the Trade Union Working Committee and the Industrial Park Trade Union Committee.

The grassroots unions in the old Ninh Thuan province that are not subject to dissolution now have 247 grassroots unions with more than 28,000 union members. The grassroots trade unions will be managed by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor.

After listening to the opinions and recommendations of the Trade Union representatives on trade union activities, trade union finances, etc., the leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor directly answered and accepted them and will transfer them to the professional agency to answer and provide specific instructions to the Trade Unions.

Currently, there are 5 main groups of problems at the grassroots level: Determining the direct superior union unit, paying union fees and union funds, ward union activities, seals and related administrative procedures.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa also thanked the leaders of the unit, enterprises, and grassroots trade unions for their support and sharing in the past time. At the same time, set out key tasks for the last 6 months of the year for the Trade Unions in the southern Khanh Hoa area.

In particular, focusing on taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers; focusing on building practical activity programs to ensure the completion of set goals and targets.
