The Trade Union of Vietnam Golden Shoes Co., Ltd. opens the 5th Workers' Football Tournament
Thanh Hoa - The 5th Vietnam Golden Shoes Co., Ltd. Men's and Women's Union Football Tournament took place from August 3 to 24.8 with 21 teams competing.
On August 3, the Trade Union of Vietnam Golden Shoes Co., Ltd. held the opening ceremony of the 5th Football Tournament for the male and female workers - 2025, celebrating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
This year's tournament brings together 13 men's teams and 8 women's teams, competing in a knockout format to select 4 excellent teams in each content for the semi-finals.
The matches took place at An Phat artificial football field (Nong Cong commune, Thanh Hoa province) from August 3 to August 24.
After 5 consecutive years of organization, the grassroots football tournament has become an annual sporting activity, contributing to collective solidarity, improving spiritual life and creating a healthy and joyful playground for workers after work.
