Phuong Dong Perilla Company's Trade Union promotes emulation movements in the new term

The congress was attended by comrade Le Thi Net - Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Van Don Special Zone Trade Union; Company leaders and all union members.

Phuong Dong Perilla Company Limited was established in 2000, a 100% foreign-owned FDI enterprise, operating in the fields of boy farming for pearls, pearl production and trading in Van Don Special Zone.

Currently, the Company has 134 employees, of which 107 are female. In recent years, revenue has remained about 30 - 40 billion VND/year; the output of raw pearls exported reached over 200kg/year; the average income of workers reached 10 - 11 million VND/month.

In the period of 2023 - 2025, the Company's Trade Union maintains a rate of regular union members of over 90%; Activities of visiting and supporting union members in difficult circumstances; giving gifts on holidays and Tet; organizing sightseeing and sports - cultural exchanges are maintained effectively.

The emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" attracted a large number of union members to participate; many initiatives and improvements were applied, contributing to improving productivity.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Company's Trade Union aims to continue building a strong organization; developing union members; improving staff capacity; innovating forms of propaganda; promoting emulation associated with production - business tasks; better caring for the rights of workers, especially female workers.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Le Thi Net acknowledged the results of the Company's Trade Union in the past term, emphasizing its role as a bridge between workers and enterprises. Propose that the Trade Union continue to innovate its methods of operation, focus on developing union members, training cadres, protecting the rights of workers well, contributing to building a strong trade union organization and stable business development.

The Congress elected 7 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union, term VIII, 2025 - 2030.

On this occasion, the Company launched a campaign for cadres, workers and laborers to support people in Lam Dong province to overcome the consequences of floods and provide support to 3 union members in difficult circumstances.
