Petrolimex Workers' and Civil Servants' Sports Festival Final
The final round of the Petrolimex Workers' and Civil Servants' Sports Festival was held to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.
This is also an activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Petrolimex's founding.
Accordingly, the Sports Festival is divided into 7 large-scale areas, held from November 2024 to April 2025. The starting point is from the South Central and Central Highlands, Southwest, North Central, Northern Coast, Northern Midlands and Mountainous Areas, Southeast, ending at the Hanoi area.
The regional competitions attracted nearly 3,000 athletes who are union members and workers throughout the Group to participate, creating a vibrant and united atmosphere.
At the final of the Sports Festival, there were 424 civil servants and laborers who were excellent athletes in the regional round.
Athletes compete in 6 sports including: 7-a-side mini men's football, badminton, table tennis, tennis, chess and Pickleball. In particular, Pickleball is a modern, dynamic sport, introduced for the first time in the Group-wide Sports Festival system.
