The online Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 will be free of transportation
The online Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 will have 200,000 union members and workers participating.
On December 30, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) held a conference to provide guidance on the content and methods of participating in the online "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" Program.
Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - said that since the beginning of October 2025, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has issued a plan to take care of Tet 2026 with many contents to prepare resources to take care of Tet for union members and people in need, including a plan to organize an online Tet Market to sell discounted goods to union members and workers in difficult circumstances as well as have outstanding achievements in production and trade union activities.
According to Mr. Phan Van Anh, up to this point, preparations for the online "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" Program have been basically completed. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has developed a plan, on that basis, it has directed the advisory committees to select a unit to help the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor build an e-commerce platform.
In addition, Mr. Phan Van Anh said that up to this point, more than 20 businesses have submitted applications to join the exchange, with a total of about 2,000 items. Most registered enterprises have committed to reducing prices compared to selling prices by at least 5%, some items are 7%.
According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the total number of union members supported and allocated through the online Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 program is 200,000 people. The expected time of the program is: From 9:00 a.m. on January 5, 2026 to 12:00 a.m. on March 4, 2026; temporary sales break during the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday (from 0:00 a.m. on February 11, 2026 to 24:00 a.m. on February 22, 2026).
According to the Labor Relations Department (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor), there will be free vouchers for transportation, so union members and customers at the program will be exempted from transportation.
The conference deployed work related to the online "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" Program, including introducing shopping methods; conducting experimental purchases... to make the e-commerce platform operate best, helping union members and workers buy goods to ensure quality as well as progress, minimizing errors in the purchase process...
