Trade Union in Ho Chi Minh City organizes cooking competition and gives gifts on October 20 to female workers

On October 19, the Trade Union of Rochdale Spears Co., Ltd. (Tan Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) organized the 11th culinary competition.

The contest was attended by local leaders and the Tan Khanh Ward Trade Union. On the company's side, there were Ms. Hoang Yen - Legal Director of Rochdale Spears Company Limited, Mr. Truong Thanh Dung - Chairman of the company's Trade Union.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Hoang Yen said that the wood industry is currently facing many difficulties. However, taking care of the health and spirit of workers is still a priority for businesses. This is an activity to show gratitude to workers in general and especially female workers.

Ms. Hoang Yen thanked all employees in the company for their steadfast solidarity with the company to overcome difficulties.

The company's Trade Union said that this is the 11th time the contest has been held. This year the contest has the theme "tscape of 3 regions", attracting 43 participating teams. The teams were funded by the organizing committee to buy cooking ingredients. Through the contest, union members and workers are brought closer together, strengthening solidarity. At the same time, improve cooking skills for workers to have more delicious meals.

Mr. Truong Thanh Dung - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union said that this is one of the activities towards celebrating Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20). The Trade Union also organized the presentation of 1,164 gifts to female workers (each gift worth 250,000 VND).

Previously, on October 3, the Trade Union coordinated with the company to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival lantern making contest for officers and employees. At the program, the Trade Union presented 3,210 moon cakes to union members and workers.
