Union Meal spreads solidarity in the Vietcombank extended family

To celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025) and the 5th Vietcombank Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030), Vietcombank Trade Union launched and simultaneously organized the "Union Meal" Program across the system on July 28, 2025.

Union Meal is organized in many diverse and creative forms at Vietcombanks Head Office and branches and affiliated units nationwide. This is a practical activity to show gratitude and care for the lives of workers. Cozy, intimate meals are an opportunity for cadres, union members, and workers to gather, share joy, and strengthen colleague cohesion, thereby building a humane and close working environment.

At the "Union Meal" program, Trade Unions at all levels reviewed the glorious 96 years of building and developing the Vietnam Trade Union organization. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to commend and reward outstanding union members who have made many contributions to the patriotic emulation movement, innovation initiatives, improving work efficiency, and contributing to the sustainable development of Vietcombank.

Attending the "Union Meal" program, comrade Hong Quang, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Vietcombank Trade Union, affirmed: "The Union Meal is not only a collective meal, but also shows the spirit of solidarity, sharing, a bond that connects colleagues, contributing to building the image of a united Vietcombank common roof. This is also an opportunity for us to look back and be proud of the glorious 96-year tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union, while also adding motivation for each cadre and union member to continue to strive for the development of the unit and the banking system".

Through the program, Vietcombank Trade Union hopes to continue to strengthen the spirit of solidarity, creating motivation for union members and workers to work with peace of mind and stay with the bank for a long time. In addition, this is also an opportunity to arouse pride, responsibility and companionship of employees in implementing strategic goals, building Vietcombank to become stronger and stronger, affirming its position as the leading bank in Vietnam.

Union Meal once again affirms the motto of action of Vietcombank Trade Union: Always accompany, care for, and protect the legitimate rights of union members and workers; promote its role as an effective bridge between the Board of Directors and workers; build a strong Trade Union organization; create a professional, humane, and effective working environment for Vietcombank's sustainable development.
