A valuable Union meal is 5 times more than usual for 50 workers
HCMC - About 50 workers of SBSambo Vina Co., Ltd. attended the "Union Meal" with a meal value of 5 times as much as normal days.
On September 1, the Ngai Giao Commune Trade Union announced that the unit had attended a "Union Meal" organized for union members and workers working at SBSambo Vina Company Limited (headquartered in Chau Duc Industrial Park, Ho Chi Minh City).
Following the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, the Trade Union of SBSambo Vina Company Limited coordinated with the Board of Directors to organize a meaningful "Union Meal" program in 2025.
Taking place in a cozy, friendly and cohesive atmosphere, during the "Union Meal", about 50 workers had a meal worth 125,000 VND. Including a daily meal worth VND 25,000 converted into noodles, milk, and cakes; along with a meal worth VND 100,000 supported by the grassroots union fund and the company's Board of Directors. Notably, even probationary employees will be able to attend the Union Meal, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and equality.
On this occasion, the unit also presented 2 gifts worth 1 million VND to 2 workers in difficult circumstances, encouraging workers to continue to work enthusiastically and stick with the enterprise.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan - Chairwoman of the Ngai Giao Commune Trade Union - "Union Meal" at SBSambo Vina Company Limited not only takes care of material life but also connects the union, businesses and workers; contributes to affirming the role of accompanying, protecting rights, motivating workers to contribute long-term and building harmonious and sustainable labor relations.
