Border Guards support people isolated by floods
HUE - Hue Border Guard coordinated to provide emergency food support and evacuate people isolated by floods.
On the afternoon of October 29, Hong Van Border Guard Station, Hue City Border Guard Command coordinated with the government and forces to organize emergency support for people isolated in A Luoi 1 commune due to floods.
In Ta Lo A Ho village, heavy rain from October 26 has isolated 26 households with 107 people, and depleted food reserves. The officers and soldiers used ropes to transport 200kg of rice, 10 boxes of instant noodles and 3 boxes of milk to supply people, helping them stabilize their lives.
Water in Hue City is rising again. In Phu Loc commune, National Highway 1A through Cao Doi village was flooded 40 - 90cm, cutting off traffic. Vinh Hien Border Guard Station has mobilized and supported the evacuation of 5 households with 12 people to safe places.
Hue City Border Guard units are deploying the distribution of relief food from the Government, coordinating to grasp the situation, proactively mobilize forces and means, be ready to respond, and ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
