Closing ceremony of the sports tournament for workers, civil servants and laborers in Lao Cai province

Attending the closing ceremony on the evening of August 23 were Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of agencies, units, and enterprises with athletes participating in the tournament, along with a large number of union members, athletes and fans.

This year's tournament has 36 delegations with over 400 athletes who are officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers from agencies, units, and enterprises in Lao Cai province.

The competition events took place in a united and noble sports atmosphere, with a spirit of determination, exchange, and mutual learning, bringing many exciting and dramatic matches, leaving many good impressions on fans and supporters.

Final results: First prize of the whole group went to Apatit Lao Cai Company Limited; Second prize of the whole group went to the athletes of Lao Cai Provincial Department of Health; Third prize went to the athletes of Lao Cai Provincial Department of Education and Training; Encouragement prize was awarded to the athletes of Yen Bai Ward.

The Organizing Committee assessed that this year's tournament was organized on a large scale, with quality and success in many aspects. The athletes competed with all their might, contributing many beautiful plays, demonstrating solidarity, aspiration to rise up and determination to achieve high results.

At the same time, the tournament is also an opportunity for workers, civil servants and laborers in the whole province to exchange, share, strengthen solidarity, contribute to improving cultural and spiritual life, build a movement to practice physical exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho.

This is also a practical activity to celebrate major holidays of the country and the trade union organization and is one of the important highlights in caring for the spiritual life of workers, civil servants and laborers.
