Lao Dong Newspaper and Da Nang Trade Union stand side by side for workers
Da Nang - The City Labor Federation acknowledged the contribution of Lao Dong Newspaper in spreading trade union activities and protecting workers' rights.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21,25 - June 21, 2025), representatives of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation (LDLD) led by Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong - Vice President of the City Labor Federation - visited and congratulated the staff and reporters of the Lao Dong Newspaper Representative Office in the Central region.
At the meeting, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation, Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the effective solidarity and support from Lao Dong Newspaper - especially the Central region Representative Office - in conveying information, spreading the image of the trade union organization and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in Da Nang over the past time.
Ms. Huong believes that the journalism team of Lao Dong Newspaper not only truly reflects the lives of workers, but also demonstrates social responsibility through sharp articles, contributing to policy development and protecting workers' rights.
According to Ms. Huong, the press - especially accompanying newspapers such as Lao Dong Newspaper - is always an indispensable force in the process of building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
The representative of Lao Dong Newspaper in the Central region - Mr. Phan Thanh Hai - expressed his appreciation for the companionship and sharing of the Da Nang City Labor Federation for journalism in general and for the newspaper unit in particular.
Mr. Hai shared that the City Labor Federation has repeatedly created favorable conditions for professional activities, provided quick information support, helped reporters access reality and closely reflect the issues arising in the lives of local workers and laborers.
On this occasion, the two sides agreed to continue to promote coordination in communication and information work, towards the common goal: for workers, for a progressive, fair and sustainable society.
