Handover of 2 Trade Union Shelters in Hon Dat District

Union member Duong Cam Huyen of the Trade Union of My Hiep Son Kindergarten, Hon Dat district. The family has 3 members, Huyen is the main breadwinner for her mother and younger sister who suffered a traffic accident and has undergone many surgeries but has not recovered.

With a total income of about more than 6 million VND/month, the cost of living indoors is also a big burden for Huyen. The old house is seriously degraded, the wooden walls have been damaged by termites, but economic conditions have not allowed to build a new house.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, a union member of Nam Thai Son commune, Hon Dat district, has worked for 20 years. Her husband has passed away, and Ms. Hue and her children depend on each other to survive. She is the main breadwinner, her child has finished school but has not yet found a job. The income of more than 3 million VND/month makes her family's life difficult. Over the years, although the house has been severely damaged, Ms. Hue does not have enough money to repair it.

Considering the circumstances of union members, the Provincial Federation of Labor has supported each union member with 50 million VND to build a Trade Union Shelter, the rest was contributed by the family and borrowed more.

At the house handover ceremony, union members were moved to share their joy at having a new house, thereby helping them stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind, and take care of their families.

Attending the handover ceremony, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Pham Van Dang also sent congratulations to the union members' families for their new houses, thereby encouraging them to strive to work hard, complete their assigned tasks well, overcome difficulties and take better care of their families.

On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor also gave each union member a gift to celebrate their new house.
