Ba Ria - Vung Tau terminates the operation of 10 grassroots trade unions and mobilizes personnel
Ba Ria - Vung Tau announced the decision to terminate the activities of 10 trade unions at the grassroots level, transferring 6 union officials.
On June 26, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to announce decisions to terminate the activities of trade unions at the grassroots level to arrange and streamline the trade union apparatus; at the same time, announce decisions on personnel work.
In particular, the Provincial Federation of Labor decided to terminate the activities of 10 direct superior trade unions in the area including: Vung Tau City Federation of Labor, Ba Ria City Federation of Labor, Phu My City Federation of Labor, Chau Duc District Federation of Labor, Xuyen Moc District Federation of Labor, Long Dat District Federation of Labor, Con Dao District Federation of Labor, Industrial Parks Trade Union, Provincial Party Agency Trade Union, Provincial People's Committee Trade Union.
At the same time, transfer grassroots trade unions under the direct management of the Provincial Federation of Labor; sign minutes of handover of organization work, financial work, and trade union assets.
On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor also announced the decision on personnel work. Thereby, 6 union officials from the grassroots trade unions were transferred to work at the Provincial Federation of Labor, including: Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son (Chairman of the Industrial Parks Trade Union); Ms. Bui Thi Kim Nguyen (Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of the Provincial Party Agencies); Ms. Le Thi Minh Hoang (Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union); Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Linh (accountant of the Industrial Parks Trade Union); Mr. Dang Quoc Binh (Member of the Standing Committee of the Industrial Parks Trade Union); Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao (Student of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union).
Mr. Le Van Hoa - Chairman of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor - commented that during their activities, the trade unions at the grassroots level have made extremely important contributions to the development of the labor movement and trade union activities throughout the province.
The end of today's activities is not the end, but will be the beginning of a new development phase with many opportunities. Trade unions, regardless of level or model, still maintain a mission of caring for, protecting, and accompanying workers.
