Ms. Nguyen Dieu Hien re-elected as Chairman of the Trade Union of Soc Trang Vocational College

During the past term, the school's Trade Union, together with the Principal, has paid attention to social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, heavy allowances, maternity allowances, maternity allowances, regular salary increases, early salary increases, preferential allowances, seniority of teachers, increased income, etc. Thereby, contributing to the good implementation of the General Confederation's policy on "each grassroots trade union has the benefit of a union member".

The unit has presented 424 Tet gifts to union members, civil servants, and workers (DV,VC, LD) on the occasion of Lunar New Year with a total amount of nearly 92 million VND. At the same time, create conditions for VC and Khmer workers working at Chol Cham Thmay Tet holiday school, Sene DoolTa festival, and support Khmer workers with an amount of 5.7 million VND.

The emulation movement of Creative Labor and scientific research has been actively participated by many union members. Since the beginning of the term, the unit has had 91 initiatives accepted with 219 civil servants participating. The school also contributed 36 innovative initiatives to the Program "01 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic".

Regarding women's work, during the term, 148 female union members at the unit achieved the title of "Good at school work - Good at home work". The unit has presented gifts and organized many competitions to celebrate holidays such as March 8, October 20,... for female union members, civil servants, and employees with a total amount of over 200 million VND.

Ms. Tran Ngoc My, Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, Chief of Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city - acknowledged and commended the achievements of the school's Trade Union with many outstanding highlights, clearly demonstrating the role of representing and caring for members and employees.

Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation proposed that the Executive Committee of the new term Trade Union continue to expand practical support activities for union members, civil servants, and workers in difficult circumstances; promote the role of the People's Inspectorate to participate in supervising and reviewing the implementation of regimes and policies, especially regimes related to female workers. In particular, to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Trade Union activities, the new Executive Committee needs to consider digital transformation as a breakthrough task.

The Congress elected 5 comrades to the Executive Committee of the new school's Trade Union; elected 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Can Tho City Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030. Comrade Nguyen Dieu Hien was re-elected as Chairman of the Trade Union of Soc Trang Vocational College for the 2025-2030 term.
