50 scholarships to children of disadvantaged workers in Phu Tho
Phu Tho - Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Golden Heart Fund to award 50 scholarships to children of union members in difficult circumstances.
On the afternoon of September 10, the Standing Committee of the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor) to organize the awarding of scholarships in 2025 to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Accordingly, 50 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, are sponsored by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) through the Golden Heart Fund.
This activity not only has practical significance, supporting students to overcome difficulties and rise up, but also demonstrates the responsibility of the Trade Union organization, spreading the spirit of sharing in the community.
The program received consensus and positive responses from union members and workers. Many parents are moved when their children receive the scholarship, considering it a great encouragement for the family to be more motivated to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and take better care of their children's studies.
