5 lessons learned in launching the emulation movement of the Education Trade Union

According to the Vietnam Education Trade Union, in the period of 2020 - 2025, the emulation movement and reward work will be maintained sustainably and there will be many innovations and positive changes, creating a clear mark in the entire industry. Emulation movements and campaigns always closely follow the political tasks and key tasks of each school year; methods and forms of implementation are increasingly diverse, flexible, suitable for conditions and practical situations. Inspection, supervision, preliminary review and summary work has been focused on; the discovery, fostering and replication of advanced models, good people, good deeds, and exemplary union officials have received more attention; reward activities have been guaranteed to be objective, fair, democratic, for the right people, and for the right achievements.

Emulation movements and campaigns have become a spiritual driving force, contributing to profound changes in the awareness and actions of the team of cadres, teachers and workers (CBNGNLD) in practicing ethics and lifestyle; improving their sense of responsibility; constantly studying, improving expertise and political will; nurturing the desire for innovation and creativity in education and training; persistently studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style... Many schools and educational institutions have implemented dynamic and creative ways of doing things, encouraging the team of CBNGNLD to actively act with specific, practical and effective actions, contributing significantly to the successful completion of the political tasks of the industry and each unit.

The Vietnam Education Trade Union has drawn some lessons from the process of organizing and implementing patriotic emulation movements over the past 5 years.

Strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels; closely coordinate between experts and trade unions in implementing emulation movements, campaigns, promoting the role and responsibility of collectives and individuals.

Raising awareness and responsibility of units, especially leaders, in organizing emulation movements and reward work. The launch of emulation movements must be associated with professional tasks, close to the needs and actual conditions of each unit, ensuring practicality and efficiency.

Reward work needs to ensure fairness, publicity, transparency, praise the right person, the right job, and use work efficiency as the main measure. In addition, it is necessary to regularly discover, nurture, honor and replicate typical advanced examples, creating a wide spread.

Focus on innovating content and methods of propaganda, promoting the application of digital platforms in launching, monitoring, evaluating and spreading emulation movements to promptly commend and replicate advanced models in the digital environment, creating a rapid and strong spread and attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate.

Strengthen inspection, supervision, preliminary review, and summary of emulation movements and campaigns; emulation and reward work must be timely, in accordance with procedures, ensuring publicity, transparency, and accuracy.
