300 cadres and union members join hands to clean up garbage at Nha Trang beach after floods
Khanh Hoa - Cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, and public employees have mobilized to collect garbage in Nha Trang beach after a long period of floods.
On November 23, more than 300 cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, public employees, and militia and grassroots security forces of Nha Trang ward simultaneously launched a garbage collection campaign at the beach on Tran Phu Street after a long period of floods.
In recent days, continuous heavy rains have caused a huge amount of garbage from upstream rivers, streams and reservoirs to drift onto the beaches. The garbage is mainly tree trunks, water hyacinth, plastic bottles, foam boxes and plastic packaging, seriously affecting the landscape.
This situation happens almost every year at Tran Phu beach during the rainy season.
Along with the forces of Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, Department of Construction, Nha Trang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company and the Ward Youth Union also mobilized human resources and means to participate in the collection.
All garbage is gathered and transported for treatment by Nha Trang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company.
Thanks to the efforts of hundreds of people, many areas of Nha Trang beach have been cleaned up. The remaining points are continuing to be processed to soon restore the landscape to the sea route.
