2,000 workers in Ninh Binh enjoy "Union Meal"

According to Ms. Tran Thi Hue - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Viet Thuan Garment Company Limited, on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the company's trade union coordinated with the Board of Directors to organize a "Union Meal". This is an activity to strengthen the relationship between employees and businesses, spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the working environment.

The "Union Meal" has a total of 2,000 meals for union members and employees. Each meal is worth 50,000 VND/meal.

Enjoying lunch with more nutritious dishes than usual, the workers are all smiling and excited. The Standing Committee of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor also attended, enjoyed the "Union Meal" and visited and chatted with workers.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation said that with the proactive initiative of the higher-level trade union to the grassroots trade unions, the "Union Meal" has been spread to the workers more practically.

In addition, improving the quality of shift meals so that union members and workers are healthy and ensure job requirements is one of the policies that the Trade Unions at all levels focus on. The role of the Trade Union organization is clearly demonstrated through proactively developing plans, negotiating with employers, mobilizing social resources to organize quality and meaningful meals.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor presented 50 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances who are working at Viet Thuan Garment Company Limited.
