100 students in Hai Phong City trained to raise awareness of lifelong learning

At the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu discussed with more than 100 trainees who are grassroots union officials and workers in the city about the viewpoints of the Party and State, the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on lifelong learning (goals on life skills; application of information technology, digital technology, learning model goals...).

In particular, information on the content of lifelong learning that workers need to know such as the meaning and core value of lifelong learning; suggestions for some contents and forms of lifelong learning, effective learning methods, suitable for workers... Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also discussed the topic of "Living in work" within the framework of the training session.

The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized that through the training session, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor hopes that each union cadre will clearly recognize the importance of lifelong learning. Each union cadre needs to actively self-study to improve their qualifications, skills, and profession. Thereby, propagating and spreading to union members and workers, raising workers' awareness of lifelong learning, contributing to building a learning society. The goal is for every worker to be active, willing to learn new things to become a "learning citizen", adapting better when the world is constantly changing.

After a lifelong learning session, on November 6, students learned a topic about signs of detecting fraud through social networks and AI; applying AI and social networks to develop themselves. At the same time, learn about some new points of the Law on Social Insurance 2024 related to the settlement of occupational accident regimes.
