Clause 3, Article 4 of Decree 40/2024/ND-CP stipulates the equipment and means for forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level as follows:
The People's Committee at the commune level organizes the management of equipped means and equipment according to the provisions of law on management and use of public assets and decides on the type and quantity of means and equipment for each member to use and for the Security and Order Protection Team to use together according to the proposal of the commune-level Police.
Thus, the People's Committee at the commune level decides on the type and quantity of vehicles and equipment for members of the security and order protection team at the grassroots level.
