Members of the Security and Order Protection Team: Procedures and time of assessment in 2026

According to Instruction 01/HD-BCA-V05 of the Ministry of Public Security, the order of evaluating members of the Security and Order Protection Team is as follows:

- Step 1: The Head of the Team shall preside over the organization of a meeting of the Collective Evaluation Team first and then the individual. The members discussed and voted unanimously to propose the classification level for the Group and the Group members (make a meeting record according to the form). Based on the meeting results, the Head of the Group reported in writing to the Commune-level Police Command (through the Commune-level Police officer in charge of the area) on the classification results for the Group and Team members.

- Step 2: Commune-level police officers in charge of the area commented and evaluated the results of activities of the Group and members of the Group, and at the same time asked for opinions from the Village Chief, Head of the Residential Group, Head of the Front Working Committee in the village and residential group in the area on the results of the classification for the Group and members of the Group, synthesized the results and reported to the Commune-level Police Command.

- Step 3: The Commune-level Police advise the Chairman of the Commune-level People's Committee to organize a meeting to evaluate the results of activities and consider classifying the groups and members of the groups during the year. The members include: Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level, chairman, representative of the Commune-level Police Command; Commune-level Police officers in charge of the area; Heads of the Security and Order Protection Team in the area; other relevant members summoned and invited to meetings by him.

- Step 4: Based on the results of the meeting stated in Step 3, the Commune-level Police advise the Chairman of the Commune-level People's Committee to issue a decision to classify and exchange with the Groups and members of the Groups.

Time to evaluate the Security and Order Protection Team, members of the Security and Order Protection Team: The evaluation time frame is from November 15 of the previous year to November 14 of the evaluation year.
