Deadline for settling the death regime of voluntary social insurance participants

Clause 2, Article 112 of the Law on Social Insurance 2024 regulating the dossier of proposal and settlement of death benefits for people participating in voluntary social insurance stipulates the settlement of death benefits as follows:

a) Within 90 days from the date the person is reserving the social insurance payment period, the voluntary social insurance participant, the pensioner or the pensioner dies, the relatives shall submit the application to the social insurance agency;

b) Within 10 working days from the date of receiving the complete dossier as prescribed, the social insurance agency is responsible for handling it; in case of failure to resolve it, it must respond in writing and state the reason.

Thus, the statute of limitations for settling the pension for death for people participating in voluntary social insurance is prescribed as above.
