The person who approved the election results of the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee
The person who approves the election results of the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee shall base on the Law on Organization of Local Government 2025.
Pursuant to Article 36 of the Law on Organization of Local Government 2025 (Law No. 72/2025/QH15) stipulates the election of positions of People's Councils and People's Committees as follows:
The results of the election of the Chairman of the People's Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee must be approved by the Prime Minister; the results of the election of the Chairman of the People's Committee and Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee must be approved by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Accordingly, the election results of the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee must be approved by the Prime Minister.
Also according to the Law on Organization of Local Government 2025, the People's Committee includes the positions: Chairman, Vice Chairman and Members.
